Hogan's Heroes
CBS aired 168 episodes of Hogan's Heroes from September17,1965, through July4, 1971. The show was set in a German POW camp in WWII. Bob Crane played Colonel Robert E. Hogan, who headed a Special Operations unit from a prison camp. Werner Klemperer played camp commandant Wilhelm Klink, and John Banner was stupid guard Hans Schultz. Popularity grew over six seasons. Bernard Fein's estate and Albert S. Ruddy bought the sequel and additional Hogan's Heroes rights from Mark Cuban in2013. A movie based on the show is planned.
