Heading Out
Sue Perkins, who is a comedian, is the creator of the British sitcom Heading Out and also stars in it. On February 26, 2013, it was presented for the first time on BBC Two. The plot of Heading Out revolves around Sara, a veterinarian whose friends pressure her into coming out to her parents about her sexual orientation or else. Prior to developing the self-assurance to write the sitcom, Perkins had the concept for the show in her head for close to ten years. In April2012, the development of a full series of Heading Out was given the go light, and that production continued through September. A second season of the show will not be produced because it did not receive a commission.
