Soon after graduating from high school, Sean Finnerty became pregnant with his girlfriend Claudia. Now that she is his wife, he has a daily conflict between his need to be responsible and his frantic want to be irresponsible. He is just 32 years old, but he already has a daughter who is 14 years old, two little boys, and a 14-year-old son. Lily is also his daughter. His overbearing and critical father, Walt, and his carefree and irresponsible brother, Eddie, are absolutely no assistance. When they are all in the same room together, stories begin to flow freely. Naturally, Sean's family will never let him finish a narrative; they will interject, they will argue, they will disrupt the conversation, and they will defend themselves, just as any respectable family would.
