Forbidden Love
Michi, a 26-year-old high school math teacher, reluctantly accepts her boyfriend's marriage proposal, unsure of her feelings for him but under pressure from her father and society to conform. Hikaru, a 17-year-old teenager who has been expelled from many high schools for bad behavior, joins Michi's class as a new transfer student, irritated by his home life with his single mother. As their connection develops, they learn that they both feel lost in the midst of the difficulties they face, and it is this shared experience that draws them dangerously near. Michi must face society's condemnation for corrupting a minor, abandoning her fiance, and upsetting her parents and coworkers in the following heartbreaking story of forbidden love.
