Fanboy & Chum Chum is a Nickelodeon CGI animated television series developed by Eric Robles. It is based on Fanboy, an animated short developed by Robles for Nickelodeon and Frederator Studios that aired on Random! Cartoons on August 14, 2008. The premiere of the series got 5.8 million viewers. The second episode drew 5.4 million viewers. Brad Joseph Breeck wrote the theme song, which was performed by experimental punk band The Mae Shi. At Nickelodeon's upfront for the 2013-2014 season, no third season was announced.
