Erky Perky was an animated television show that aired on YTV and was made by CCI Entertainment and Ambience Entertainment. The program was about two insects named Erky and Perky who often argued with one another and were extremely dimwitted. They lived at a hot dog stand but were mistakenly brought to a house. The two protagonists, Erky and Perky, struggle during the course of the episode to adapt to their new surroundings, which include coexisting with other housebugs and searching for food in an immaculate kitchen. A "sneak peek" version of it aired on YTV's Big BBQ Blowout on July1,2006, but it was the only time it was shown. Another "sneak peek" episode of Erky-Perky was broadcast on YTV on August30,2006, as part of their "Sneek Peek Week," prior to the series' main premiere on September 7. The first episode of the show was broadcast on Toon Disney in the United States on September4, 2006. The LaB Sydney, a visual effects firm based in Australia, was responsible for the CGI animation.
