Dororo to Hyakkimaru
Hyakkimaru is a young guy who is missing 48 body parts since his father, Kagemitsu Daigo, had them removed by demons before he was born in exchange for his goal to take over the country. When the infant boy was born, he was missing 48 bodily parts; he was therefore abandoned and tossed into a river. Hyakkimaru has matured and acquired phony body parts in order to destroy the 48 demons created from his body and retrieve his lost parts. Dororo, a young burglar with whom he becomes friends, joins him on his quest.
