Degrassi High
The third teen drama in the Degrassi series, Degrassi High is about a group of teens who live on or near De Grassi Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. From 1989 to 1991, it was on TV for the first time, and it followed the kids from The Kids of Degrassi Street and Degrassi Junior High through high school. The show was shot in downtown Toronto and at Centennial College. Like its predecessor, Degrassi High dealt with controversial topics like AIDS, abortion, abuse, alcoholism, cheating, sex, death and suicide, dating, depression, bullying, gay rights, homophobia, racism, the environment, drugs, and eating disorders.
