Cybill
Cybill is an American sitcom that was made by Chuck Lorre and ran on CBS from January2,1995, to July13, 1998. As Cybill Sheridan, a divorced mother of two and struggling actress in her forties who has yet to find her big break, Cybill Shepherd is the star of the show. Dedee Pfeiffer and Alicia Witt played Sheridan's daughters alongside Alan Rosenberg and Tom Wopat as their fathers, while Christine Baranski featured as Cybill's hard-drinking companion Maryann. The sitcom was made by Carsey-Werner Productions and YBYL Productions. Shepherd, Lorre, Howard Gould, Jay Daniel, Marcy Carsey, and Tom Werner were the show's original executive producers. Cybill was nominated for twelve Emmy Awards and won the 1996 Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. Shepherd won her third Golden Globe Award for her performance, and Baranski won an Emmy, a SAG, and an American Comedy Award.
