It ran on the Disney Channel from January 12, 2007 and September 13, 2008, and was a spin-off from the show That's So Raven. With his new job as the White House's official head chef comes the opportunity for Cory Baxter to relocate from San Francisco to DC to follow in his footsteps. Disney Channel has never had a spin-off series before, thus this is a historic first for the network. For the duration of the show, this is the only Disney Channel spin-off to be broadcast in standard definition. Only Family Channel in Canada is airing repeats of the series, which has not been aired on Disney Channel or Disney XD. In one episode, Raven-Symone returned as Raven Baxter as a guest star.
