Blind Date
London Weekend Television developed Blind Date, a British dating game program. Cilla Black, who previously hosted the LWT series Surprise, Surprise, hosted an unscreened pilot with comic Duncan Norvelle as host. From November30,1985, through May31,2003, Blind Date aired on Saturday nights. Blind Date will return in late 2013 for a one-time special to honor Black's 50-year career in the entertainment industry. This special one-off will air as part of Paul O'Grady's other show, The One and Only Cilla Black. The producers of Blind Date are hoping to bring back some of the show's most memorable competitors who are still single for a second shot to win a date.
