Black Scorpion
Black Scorpion is an action-crime TV series that aired on the Sci-Fi Channel in 2001 and on Space in Canada in 2002. The show is based on two Roger Corman movies, Black Scorpion and its sequel, Black Scorpion II: Aftershock. The show is about a female police officer who, at night, becomes a superhero called the Black Scorpion and fights crime. There are many references to the old Batman TV show, and both Adam West and Frank Gorshin have appeared as guests on the show. Episodes 1.1, 1.3, and 1.8 were put together to make a movie called Sting of the Black Scorpion, which came out in 2002. The whole series was briefly available on DVD in North America, but the set is no longer being made.
