Baggage is an American dating game show hosted by Jerry Springer. It debuted on GSN on April 19, 2010 and concluded on December 2, 2011. Baggage presently airs in reruns on GSN on Friday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern and weeknights at 12 a.m. Eastern/11 p.m. Central. Baggage, like The Dating Game, allows three competitors the opportunity to catch the eye of a potential date. Onstage, the candidates carry three suitcases: one little, one medium, and one huge. Each suitcase contains a humiliating, distinctive, or peculiar proposition that the candidate may have, such as poor habits, unusual relationship preferences, troubles from one's background, and unusual interests. These cases reflect the "baggage" to which they will admit and defend. The greater the size of the bag, the greater the size of the secret. When the three contenders are reduced to one, the potential dater must acknowledge to a flaw of his or her own.
