There are three housemates: Stan Smith, Francine Smith and their college-aged daughter Hayley Smith; their high-school-aged son Steve Smith; and their father, Stan Smith and his better half housewife Francine Smith. For those unfamiliar with the story's primary cast, there are three more notable figures: Hayley Smith's former lover and now husband Jeff Fischer; Klaus, the family's lovable goldfish; and Roger, the alien who is "full of masquerades, brazenness, and surprising pranks."
