Aída
Ada is a Spanish comedy sitcom based in Madrid that is a spin-off of the sitcom 7 Vidas. This program debuted on January16, 2005 and is produced by Globomedia for the Spanish television network Telecinco. Presently, the ninth season has begun. The show stars Carmen Machi as the lead character, Ada Garca, a working single mother with two teenage children who is forced to move in with her mother and brother in order to make ends meet. Since2007, the show has been the most-watched in Spain. It has earned positive audience reviews. It has also won other honors, such as the Ondas Award for Best Spanish Sitcom. In March2012, TVP2 began broadcasting the Polish remake of the series.
