After the Rain
Akira Tachibana is a soft-spoken high school girl who used to be a member of the track and field club but is no longer able to sprint as quickly as she once did owing to an accident. As a last resort, she works part-time at a family restaurant and falls in love with her manager, a divorced 45-year-old guy with a young son. Despite the age difference, Akira embraces his idiosyncrasies and gentle attitude, which the other employees perceive as spinelessness, and the two gradually come to understand each other. Although she is unable to define why she is drawn to him, Akira believes that a specific reason is not required to sincerely love someone. On a gloomy day, she resolves to finally tell her manager how she feels...but how will he react?
