A Woman Called Moses is a miniseries about Harriet Tubman, an escaped slave who helped organize the Underground Railroad and brought dozens of African Americans to freedom in the North and Canada. The production, narrated by Orson Welles, aired on the NBC television network on December 11 and 12, 1978. Cicely Tyson, an Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee, played Tubman.
