800 Words
A parent who was recently bereaved decides to abandon his job as a popular columnist writing 800 words for a Sydney daily that is one of the best sellers in the city. He acts on a spur-of-the-moment inclination to purchase a home in a sleepy coastal community in New Zealand and does so via the internet. Then he has to convey the news to his two teenage children, who have only recently lost their mother and now face an even more uncertain future. However, due to the eccentric and curious nature of the inhabitants, his plan for a clean slate does not go as smoothly as he had hoped.
