In this satire of 1960s Greek government, repression is the order of the day. Leftist provocateur Z is killed in what appears to be a road accident. Nevertheless, considering the current political context, the death of such a prominent activist raises disturbing considerations. Even though it is too late to save Z, a postmortem study reveals that the ruling party was responsible for his death. Those who speak the truth pay a price for their candor as the truth becomes public.
