The day Marguerite Flora turns 40, she begins getting letters she wrote to herself when she was seven years old. For those times when her life hasn't turned out the way she envisioned it, the letters provide her with advice on how to move on. For her own sake, she returns to her hometown to meet with the lawyer who can put an end to the letters, as well as her childhood sweetheart and her long-lost brother.
