Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale - Part 1: The Sun Flag

Mature Mouna Rudo was a member of a fearless band of Seediq Bale warriors. He was born and nurtured among the Seediq, an indigenous Taiwanese tribe. Nevertheless, Japan's occupation of the country in 1895 has put Rudo's way of life at risk. In 1930, Rudo gathers together a group of former Seediq Bale soldiers, many of whom had been reduced to infighting, and molds them into a revolutionary army to reclaim the traditions and honor of his people. During a juvenile sporting event, Seediq forces and the Japanese occupation troops engage in an armed standoff, which results in a bloody battle. It's part one of the four-hour Taiwanese version of the film Warriors Of The Rainbow: Seediq Bale - The Sun Flag.
