Seven-hour epic based on Leo Tolstoy's eponymous novel. Two major plot lines are complicated and intertwined. The first is the love story of young Countess Natasha Rostova and Count Pierre Bezukhov, who is dissatisfied with his marriage. Another example is the "Great Patriotic War" of 1812 against Napoleon's armies invading the United States. Russia's people, from all social classes, stand united against the enemy.
