Anthony Stoner, an unemployed, pot-smoking slacker and amateur drummer, leaves his strict parents and travels the road, where he eventually meets a kindred spirit named Pedro de Pacas. While the drug-using couple is quickly jailed for marijuana possession, Anthony and Pedro are released on a technicality, allowing them to continue their many mishaps and ultimately compete in a rock band competition, where they perform the boisterous song "Earache My Eye."
