The second film in David Hare's trilogy about Johnny Worricker. Johnny Worricker, last seen blowing the whistle at MI5 in Page Eight, has a new life. He is eating lobster while wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses and calling himself Tom Eliot (he is, after all, a poet at heart). Christopher Walken's entrance as a mysterious American who claims to know Johnny draws us into Johnny's world and plight. The experience causes him to associate with a group of questionable American businessmen who claim to be attending a meeting on the global financial crisis. Their finance PR seems to know more than she's letting on as one of them falls into the water. Worricker rapidly discovers the scope of their illicit activities, and he must act swiftly to live when ties to the British prime minister Alec Beasley are revealed.
