Young Apulian businessman Checco has launched a sushi bar in his hometown of Apulia as part of his entrepreneurial dreams. Sadly, the restaurant failed after only one month, and he decided to go to Africa in an effort to avoid further financial ruin. While working in Kenya as a waiter, he decides to slip away with some of his African friends on a boat carrying migrants bound for Europe during the onset of a civil war. While it is true that he does not want to return to Italy, he prefers the banking secrecy and lesser tax burden that Liechtenstein offers over those of his native country.
