Jake Taylor has it all. He has a beautiful girl, he's a basketball and beer pong champion, and everyone adores him. Then Jake's old childhood friend, with whom he used to be friends, commits suicide. Jake begins to ponder. He mulls over what he could have done to save his friend's life. Jake, according to a youth minister, requires God. As a result, Jake converts to Christianity. Things, however, start to spiral out of control. His father is cheating on his mother, his girlfriend is pregnant, and his former friends mock and ridicule him. Throughout this, Jake will learn what it means to be a Christian and how to save a life.
