The Wilby Conspiracy

Shack Twala, a nationalist activist who spent ten years in prison, is eventually freed by the South African Supreme Court, but he goes on the run almost immediately following a confrontation with the police. Rina Van Niekirk, his lawyer, and British engineer Jim Keogh accompany him to Capetown, where he wants to collect a hoard of diamonds he had given to a dentist before he was imprisoned, in order to fund revolutionary activities. Major Horn of the South African State Security Bureau follows them as they go and it becomes clear that he has no intention of capturing them until they reach their final destination.
