H.P. Lovecraft's iconic genre-bending tale of suspense and alien terrors, written in 1931, is brought to life in the style of classic horror films from the 1930s such as Frankenstein, Dracula, and King Kong. The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society uses its MythoscopeTM process, which combines vintage and modern techniques, to expand on Lovecraft's original story while maintaining unparalleled authenticity. In the adventure of Albert Wilmarth, a folklore professor at Miskatonic University, who investigates legends of strange creatures rumored to dwell in Vermont's most remote mountains, horror and science fiction collide. Wilmarth's investigation leads him to the discovery of horrors beyond his wildest imagination, culminating in a desperate attempt to flee the remote New England hills with his life and sanity intact.
