The Unbearable Lightness of Being

During an operation in Prague, Tomas meets a young female photographer, Tereza, and brings her back to Prague with him. When the Soviets invade, the three of them flee to Switzerland, where Tereza discovers that Tomas is already involved with the bohemian Sabina. Terrible news for Tereza and Sabina, who begin an affair as Tom continues to have sex with other women. She flees to the Czechoslovakia. Tomas resolves to pursue her after realizing his error.
