Alex, 43, is a man who does not have a great deal of duties. As a tow truck driver for his mother Antoinette's vehicle repair garage, which she runs with an iron grip, he earns his keep. Although she hopes that he would one day take over the family business, he manages to continually demonstrate that he is not up to the job. He helps a woman whose car has broken down one day and ends up staying the night at her home as a result of his efforts. On the following morning, she is nowhere to be found, and Alex realizes that he is all alone... with three children!
