The Torture Club
Film adaptation of the same-titled comic book, which is known for its unique premise. Up-and-coming Director Yoshida Kota, known for films like Usotsuki Paradox, has created a unique coming-of-age drama about two girls' love, with themes of athletics and endurance. At the private school Saint Honesty Gakuen, the "Torture Club" is an approved afterschool activity. When Yuzuki (Kijima Noriko) enrolls, she is seized by the club members and taken off the clubroom. She joins the group after learning that upperclass student Aoi (Yoshizumi Haruna) is in it.
