The Stunt Man

Steve Railsback hides among a gang of moviemakers while on the run from the cops, pretending to be a stuntman. As a stuntman, he avoids both the police and untimely death with the help of the director (Peter O'Toole). The movie's mixing of genuine danger and imagination is an interesting surprise for the audience, as the two merge in particular sequences.
