In one case, the Snow Queen's heinous crimes nearly led to the death of an important king's family. As a result of his efforts, the world's magic is effectively shut off, trapping anybody who possesses magical abilities in the Mirrorlands. Gerda is the only one who can stop him and keep the fairy tale alive in our reality since her greatest ability is not magic but her belief in the power of compassion and friendship.
