In Los Angeles, Sara, a young Iowa design student, is eager to blend in and get to know the city. Rebekah, Sara's rich roommate, is ready to take Sara under her wing and teach her how to do things. They become close, but Rebecca becomes bitter when Sara starts to meet new friends on campus. Sara moves in with her new boyfriend, prompting Rebecca's conduct to escalate.
