The Robe

In the time of Christ, Marcellus was a tribune. He is the leader of the gang tasked with crucifying Jesus. After the crucifixion, he wins Jesus' hand-woven robe while intoxicated. Following the tragedy, he is plagued by nightmares and delusions. He returns to Palestine in an effort to discover as much as he can about the guy he murdered, hoping to find a way to live with what he has done while still not believing in Jesus.
