The Road

A father and his son walk alone through a country that has been destroyed. Only the wind and water and the ash on them move in the destroyed landscape. It is so cold that stones can break, and when it snows, it is gray. It's dark outside. Their goal is the south, where it's warmer, but they don't know what, if anything, they might find there.
