The Return of the Musketeers

Mazarin recruits the destitute D'Artagnan to locate the remaining musketeers in 1649: Mazarin anticipates revolt, notably from the popular Beaufort, because Cromwell deposed the English king. Porthos, bored with wealth and desiring a title, signs on, but Aramis, an abbé, and Athos, a brawler raising an educated son, secretly assist Beaufort. When the musketeers fail to prevent Beaufort's prison breakout, Mazarin dispatches them to London to rescue Charles I. They are also chased by Justine, Milady de Winter's vengeful daughter. They must flee England, evade Justine, serve the Queen, and ensure Beauford's political reforms are implemented.
