The Pianist

The true story of what happened to pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman in Warsaw while the Nazis were there. When the Jews of the city are forced into a ghetto, Szpilman gets a job playing music in a café. When his family is deported in1942, he stays behind and works as a laborer for a while. Eventually, he goes into hiding in the war-torn city's ruins.
