The Outsider

An American of Irish ancestry who served in Vietnam, Michael Flaherty (Craig Wasson), returns to Belfast to support the cause of his grandfather, Seamus (Sterling Hayden). He quickly discovers that his native country is not as welcoming as he had anticipated. Even worse, he's the target of an IRA assassination plan to embarrass the British and gain affluent American support.
