This is Ivan, a 400-pound silverback gorilla who lives in a suburban shopping mall with Stella the elephant, Bob the dog, and a whole lot of other animals. As soon as Ruby, a baby elephant, arrives, it touches something inside him that he hasn't felt in a long time. It makes him think about his life, where he came from, and where he wants to be in the end. Ruby has recently been separated from her family in the wild.
