The Nightmare Before Christmas

Jack Skellington, the spindly monarch of Halloween Town, is sick and tired of scaring mankind every October 31 with the same old bag of tricks. He plots to kidnap Santa Claus and give children shrunken heads and other ghastly gifts on Christmas morning in order to relieve his boredom. But as Christmas draws near, Jack's rag-doll girlfriend, Sally, is doing her best to thwart his ill-conceived plans.
