Based on a Willis Hall drama. A troop of British soldiers is out in the bush recording jungle and troop noises so that the recordings can be played back to divert the enemy's attention to their location. As they make their way closer to the base camp, they find themselves increasingly out of radio range, until the only channel they can receive clearly is a Japanese broadcast. They are now aware that they are just about ten to fifteen miles from a Japanese camp! The tension is heightened further by unruly and publicly confessed "non-hero" Private Bamforth, who has nothing but negative things to say about everyone, most notably Corporal Johnstone (who holds an equal dislike for Bamforth). When a Japanese soldier is taken as a prisoner, each man's real colors emerge.
