The Lodgers

1920 in the countryside of Ireland. Rachel and Edward, who are Anglo-Irish twins, live a peculiar existence with one another at the decaying family mansion. Each night, the house is taken over by a malevolent entity known as "The Lodgers," which imposes three restrictions on the twins: they are required to be in bed by the stroke of midnight; they are not permitted to allow anyone from the outside to cross the threshold; and if either twin makes an attempt to flee, the life of the other is put in danger. The damaged war veteran Sean arrives to the surrounding village, and he is immediately drawn to the intriguing Rachel. Rachel, in turn, begins to transgress the rules that have been put up by The Lodgers. Because of the implications, Rachel is forced into a potentially lethal confrontation with her brother, as well as with the curse that follows both of them.
