The King and the Mockingbird

The despotic King Charles V-et-III-font-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII-et-VIII His archenemy is a sly mockingbird, whose favorite hobby is foiling the king's bird-shooting attempts. A painting of the king comes to life one night and replaces the real king. The portrait monarch falls in love with and plans to marry a young shepherdess in another painting. However, the shepherdess has fallen in love with a chimneysweep, and the two flee the king's palace together. Enraged, the king dispatches his troops to apprehend them, and once in his possession, he forces the shepherdess to marry him. The mockingbird must use all of his cunning and bravery to once again defy the king and put a stop to his cruel rule.
