It's Roland Sallinger, a former LAPD officer forced to resign for medical reasons after nearly being killed by his vengeful colleague, who travels to San Antonio, Texas to serve as the personal bodyguard for a wealthy businessman's daughter. As a police officer, Sallinger and the businessman worked together on a number of cases. The businessman's daughter is kidnapped by mobsters, and he goes on the hunt to retrieve her and protect her.
