The Iron-Fisted Monk

Sammo Hung's first movie as a director, Iron Fisted Monk, is a powerful old-school kung fu film that shows the chubby one at his physical best on screen and calling the shots behind the camera. Husker (Sammo) is a student of the Shaolin monks, where he is learning kung fu so that he can kill the nasty Manchus who killed his uncle and take revenge. He quits his training early because he wants to teach the killers a lesson. He joins forces with a martial arts master named Chan Sing, who is teaching a group of factory workers how to protect themselves. When the Manchus attack the factory and kill everyone there, Husker and his Buddhist friend decide it's time to even the score.
