The Hidden Fortress

Matashichi and Tahei, two Japanese peasants, try and fail to benefit from a tribe feud. They discover a man and woman hiding in a castle, whom they presume to be basic tribe members. The peasants agree to accompany Rokurota, a general, and Yuki, a princess, to safety in exchange for cash. Along the journey, the general must demonstrate his combat skills while concealing his true identity.
