The Goob

In Fenland, England, we are in the midst of a heat wave. Goob Taylor has spent each of his sixteen summers assisting his mother with the operation of the transport cafe and harvesting the neighboring beet fields. When Mum marries swarthy stock-car king and ladies' man gene Womack, Goob becomes an unwanted side thought. However, when exotic beet picker Eva arrives, Goob's world is turned upside down. Goob fantasizes about greater things as a result of her seductive statements.
