He arrives to Baghdad to revenge the murder of his father and encounters Krairuzan, a princess disguised as a commoner who is working against a plot to overthrow her father, the Caliph, who is being targeted by a team of evil schemers who want to kill him. She bestows upon Harum a golden sword, which, when in his possession, renders him invincible. Using the sword in the name of justice, Harum is doing pretty well until a duplicate sword is placed in his scabbard during one of his off-guard moments, resulting in his imprisonment.
