The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

A male journalist and a young female hacker star in this Stieg Larsson-adapted Swedish thriller. The novel was written by Stieg Larsson. In the beginning of the film, Mikael Blomkvist, a middle-aged publisher for the magazine Millennium, is unsuccessful in defending himself against a libel suit brought by Hans-Erik Wennerstrom, a corrupt Swedish entrepreneur. Despite this, Henrik Vanger hires him to investigate a cold case involving the disappearance of Vanger's niece.
